As of yet, I have no interest in becoming a dramaturg but I respect and admire the work of those who do, especially since earning a living from it at this point is dire.  Before I began graduate school, I&#039;d never even heard the term used before.   But I&#039;m glad to know that this profession exists as it can only can only help my future productions.  It seems as if the field is growing in the U.S. so that should bring some encouragement to those who would like to pursue dramaturgy as a career.</description>
